The Ifs of Role Play –

If I am playing with you, it is because I like and respect you. I am making a commitment to play my characters, share their stories, and develop my character in relationship to your characters.

If you are too busy, I understand that. But you need to tell me. You also might not want to be RPing all over the goddamned place with other characters that take up all your time. If you have time for them, you should have 10 minutes to spare for me.

If you don’t like what we’re RPing. You’ve lost interest in a pairing or a story. Tell me. Don’t ditch me for days/weeks at a time then expect me to sit there with my character mired in a tar pit. If my character has built his life around a relationship that you are no longer interested in, you need to tell me.

If all you want to RP is sex, I need to know that too. Because it’s not enough for me, I need stories. I need adventure. I need conflict and chaos. I need struggle to survive with a little romance tossed in.

If I did something that pissed you off, then tell me too. But don’t agree to something then 2 days later decide you don’t like it and hold it against me that I’ve gone with the original idea.

If you’d rather play in one format over another, that’s not a problem. But I will not play the same version of the same character in more than one place. I need a separation of the ‘Verses. Not because I get confused about what’s going on, but because it bores the fuck out of me to run parallel stories for no reason. I have enough of my real work/writing to do without wasting my time doing that.

If you want to RP with me, then RP with me. If you don’t, then don’t. I will not beg for attention. I will not PM you, DM you, IM you or grovel. There are plenty of other people out there who want me to RP with them. People that I shoved away because I thought we were doing a story together.

If you think I’m ranting about you, I might be.

I love you for introducing me to and teaching me how to RP, I love all the fun I have, and I love chatting/playing with you, IC and OOC.

I hate that you got the shaft, and I wish this didn't happen, especially to you. You're amazing, IC and OOC, I'm so happy I met you, and Liz met you.

Of course I would expect the same of anyone I rp with as well; I hate to be left hanging, recently I thought my character was doing fine with his intended then after a big event the person I was rping with dropped her character, forcing me to drop one of my own. *sniffle*

If ever you want to talk I'm here, even if it's about ooc stuff, it's okay I'm very talkative/amusing on aim :D
