“Toads!!” Dean slammed on the brakes of the Impala, and I hit the back of the bench seat with a thud. “It’s a god damn rain of toads!”
Sam yelped when a bloated toad hit the windshield spidering the glass and leaving a smear of blood and toad guts. Another hit the hood, and I knew Dean was terrified that there might be a scratch in the car’s pristine black paint.
“I would suggest finding cover, Dead.” The sky was a churning mass of dark clouds, while the ground was covered in squirming masses of dead, dying and hopping amphibians.
