User Pic Credit

I'd like to thank punk4life1315 for letting me know I was using one of her icons. I try to always give credit, but sometimes I snatch an icon from someone who hasn't credited. When I do that, I always post on the icon the following:

If you made this, please let me know, so I can credit you.

If I don't have anything listed in the credit, that usually means that I made the icon (quick cropped some picture). As a writer and as someone who has begun dabbling in icon making, I know how important it is to give credit where credit is due. So please do not hesitate to let me know if I'm using something of yours.

I hate when I don't know who made my favorite Icons :( I have about 3000 now and a bunch are from IDEK where because I found them on Photobucket or Flickr. You rock for being so worried about crediting.

I have a thing about stealing. Funny coming from me, I know. But it's hard to give credit where it's due too.

I'm the same way. When I first got on lj, I didn't think to note who made the icons when I saved them so I have a ton that I have no idea who they belong to. I put the same thing with them, I want to give credit too, since someone took the time to make them.

Yeah some of my oldest on all my LJs aren't credited, because I didn't know any better. I love your icon.

If I really was ambitious enough, I could probably go back and find a lot of them but it's easier just to ask for who to credit. lol

Thanks. :D Mac helped me make it. The picture and words are from a t-shirt a friend had, Mac made it into an icon for me. *hee* He had to redo the words tho, they didn't fit otherwise.
