OOC - State of the Sylar

The heater in my house is broken, and it has been getting mighty cold. I think it has frozen parts of my brain, and my creativity has been nil on all my projects. The only thing that seems to work are graphics, so there have been new icons and layouts.

On December 1st the 12 Days of Sylar begins on heroes_sylar at which point I will drag my head out of my ass and produce. It would be bad form for me to run an event and not participate. I owe a few weeks of scifi_muses prompts, and I'm doing 2 entries on the Peter/Sylar/Gabriel Advent Calendar on sylar_peter as well. I'm also working on a new novel, and I want the first draft done by the end of February. Outside of NANOWRIMO writing is about quality not quantity which is why I didn't do it this year. I've already won enough times.

My RP on LJ has flourished this past month however, and a couple of weeks ago I decided to walk away from the Black Hole of Suck. No more constant Twitter RP for me. It's crap. It's crack, and compared to what I can do on LJ it was a total waste of my time and emotional energy. I thought it was fun, but in the long run it's not for me. I need more space. I need to play with the right people, and sadly I wasn't finding them there. Anyone who was any good on Twitter is tons better on LJ, and they are playing on my comms. So it's been a win/win situation for me.

It's nice to be in a controlled environment where I don't have to wonder what crazy my milkshake has brought to the yard. *waves to the crazies* Case in point I'm not locking this entry down, because I don't care who sees it. I have nothing to hide. I never have.

You know me, I always preferred LJ to Twitter in the first place. Glad to have you back on this end of things.

I did too, but Twitter had it's moments. Sadly the wank and bullshit on Twitter far outweigh the positive points.
