The thing was an abomination, an aberration, an affront to all that I had become. It mocked my power. It mocked me. It consorted with puppets and more than likely slept with a tin foil hat to prevent alien anal probes, or perhaps to encourage them? It needed to be put down. Ripped apart by hands, teeth and claws until it’s nothing but hamburger. It wears my face. I can’t wait to tear it off and feed it to him.

My hands are shaking as I send for Gabriel. I want my brother’s help with this hunt. The two of us, running like wolves to bring down the short bus version of us. The thought of it makes my blood sing, and the hunger purrs knowing that I’m going to let it out very soon.

“Gabriel, brother, it’s time for us to hunt.” I port to the shop. I know that Gabriel will be there. It’s our haven, where we go when one of us is hurt or pissed off. I know he wants to kill as much as I do. The thought of dipping my fingers into the Short Bus Sylar’s brain has me smiling as I appear.

"That's a good idea. The porting." I scan the crowd, I can't help myself. The hunger is in full heat, and it's looking for something to snack on. The odds in a crowd this big is that there is another special here besides the three of me/us.

"I also like the idea of ripping him to shreds here so they find him." I tilt my head back and look at the ride. "I could fly us up there, and we could kill him on the ride while it's going. Death at however many miles an hour."

I do like his idea. It sounds dangerous and messy and right now a little mess would be very acceptable. The thought of it makes my blood rush faster through my veins, my need to do this flaring. "Oh yes. Let's do that. Get them now."

I step close to him, wrapping my arms around him, trying to not feel like fucking Lois Lane. He's so far from Superman, there's no boring moral issues, no goody two shoes attitude. And thank God for that. "Up and away, big brother."

His excitement is enough to make me laugh as I take off. I don't miss the Lois Lane image either, but I don't snicker about that.

As we get closer I can feel the chaos of the other's broken mind. He is so very wrong. There is so much chaos that I don't know how he can chew gum and walk. I feel like we're going to after Bizarro. Maybe we are.

"There." I see them in the car of the roller coaster. There are three other couples riding behind them. As we land in the empty seat at the back of the car, I reach forward and start teleporting the innocent out of the way. "No witnesses."

The roller coaster is moving fast, but so is my brother, getting the witnesses out of the way very efficiently. Climbing into recently emptied seats, we move forward, the process repeating until we're right behind them. I can catch the stench of cats from the both of them, even here, even with the air rushing past us. I can also feel the bond, the buzz of connection making me feel sick. I don't want to be connected to him, it needs to stop.

I glance over at my brother. Two of them, two of us. We didn't discuss a plan, but it's an unspoken agreement that he gets to take out the other Sylar. Which means that the girlfriend is all mine. She could, of course, be teleported away, but what's the fun in that?

I'm waiting on his move.
